Looks like a good pickup for Capel and company. Eaves was selected to the NCPreps.com All-State 4A basketball team. According to MaxPreps.com, he averaged 17.7 pts a game and is the #30 recruit in the highly competitive state. You can watch some videos of him in action HERE.
App Baseball had a couple of games with EKU rained out this week. But it sweeped Furman in their 3-game series, allowing a slight move up in the Mid-Major polls and computer rankings. We’re currently on the bubble for the overall top-25 polls. This season has seen us climb as high as #27. Also, congratulation to right fielder Tyler Tewell for being named the SoCon Player of the Week. Next up we play High Point tonight @ 6pm in Boone.
