SIGN THIS PETITION: Rename App State’s Football Stadium to “Jerry Moore Stadium” *UPDATED*

In honor of Coach Jerry Moore, the winningest coach in Appalachian State and Southern Conference history, I’m asking you to SIGN THIS PETITION. In it we ask Chancellor Peacock and the Board of Trustees to consider renaming our stadium to “Jerry Moore Stadium” or the field/road/building if the stadium is just impossible to rename. I know for my part, I’m going to start calling it Jerry Moore Stadium regardless of what the official name is. I urge you to do the same.

The petition was featured earlier today in an ARTICLE on The Appalachian Online, App’s official school newspaper. According to that story:

Sports Information Director Mike Flynn said there are many options to honor Moore and that renaming the stadium in his honor is one of them.
