Well I just became a big fan of the David Glenn Show. In the last 3 days he’s interviewed App State head coach Jerry Moore, ECU head coach Ruffin McNeill (on the App State game), & current St. Louis Rams WR (former App State WR) Brian Quick.

He asks some really interesting questions. He asks Coach Moore about the allegations that Michigan was up partying all night getting high before we beat them. They talk about the power (or lack thereof) of partial scholarships. They also talk about what it’s like playing a school that has been one of the biggest supporters of our FBS aspirations.

He asks ECU’s coach Ruffin McNeill how it will feel playing a school and Coach that he once worked for (App State/Coach Moore). McNeill is very complimentary, even saying that our skill players are as good as they will see all year. They’re even putting their players up in a hotel (despite it being a home game) to keep them focused on App State.

He asks Brian Quick, the highest NFL draft pick in the history of App State, what the difference of playing in the NFL is. Quick tells the story of how he made the move from basketball to football late in his high school career and what it’s like to go from being poor to rich in an instant.
