VIDEO: ESPN Discusses Michigan vs Appalachian State in 2014

Somebody send Jesse Palmer a dictionary. He has no idea what the word “revenge” means.

He calls it a fluke but we BEAT them: 34-32. We played far from a perfect game but we were winning at halftime. We were winning when the game ended. I didn’t see a shred of luck involved. The game wasn’t even as close as the final score indicated.

When you embarrass someone, obviously they are going to want revenge. No one gives a crap that Michigan State has beaten them a couple of years in a row. But 5 years later everyone’s still talking about App State beating them.

Of course they want revenge. It’s our job to make sure they don’t get it.

Who was the App State player that looked into the camera and said:”If you”re scared, you have stayed home” as he goes onto the field before the big win? It was the ESPN film crew that followed App St before the season and into this game that caught it on film

ESPN was not at the Appalachian State-Michigan game in 2007. It was the Big Ten Network’s first live football broadcast. Only Big Ten Network households (and businesses such as sports bars using DISH or DIrecTV) were able to see this game live.
