Is this true? I have no idea. You guys know I share what I find and I let you make your own judgement.But if it is, one HAS to think this is football-only.

But only Idaho and New Mexico State play football in the conference. That means you basically need 8 more FBS teams to make a football conference. He lists 4, maybe throw in North Dakota State, both Montana schools, and another Dakota school and you’ve got 10. This would definitely not be a regional-conference. It would probably be a pretty embarrassing conference to be in quite frankly. But if that FCS to FBS moratorium really is coming up (rumor says it will be 10 years long), maybe we have no choice? Who knows. It gets more ridiculous every day.

Okay, I can get down with an expanded WAC for Football, but what about the other sports? Do we ask the SoCon to let us stay? Doubt that’d happen. Big South? CAA?
