AppStateNation was founded on March 31, 2012. I’ve had a ton of fun writing for it so far. In April, the site had 6,613 views (avg 220/day). That far exceeded my expectations for the first month. If you enjoy the site, please share it with your friends on Facebook and Twitter. Remember, I don’t make any money off this site. I do it because I bleed black & gold and I like to see that people are reading/enjoying the site. Seeing that players and coaches are subscribers on facebook and twitter is pretty awesome. I also especially love reading the comments.
Let me know in the comments what you think the site is missing and what you would like to see more/less of. Thanks for being a part of AppStateNation!

Thanks for the site. It’s the right mix of news and commentary on the level that I enjoy. Love the updates of the ‘non-major’ sports too.
Seriously, keep up the good work. Already this is my top blog for actual AppSt. sports.
John: I really love the site. Writing, graphics, tone, info, etc… are all first class. If I had one minor criticism, the commentary section is a bit hard to find. If you could draw more attention to it, I think you’ll see more traffic.
I check your site several times a day.
I agree. I really like the site. Keep doing what you’re doing. Great info and a great design.
i agree with the comments. Hard for me to quickly see where they are or how many comments/new comments have been made. But maybe i’m just too used to seeing them at the bottom of a post.
I like the site though, keep up the good work!
Thanks guys, I completely agree about the comments being too hard to find. I have been working on that for awhile now. The problem is that this WordPress theme is just not set up to do comments the way I would like. I could add a “post a comment” graphic, but that would not say how many comments have already been posted. Additionally, it would appear oddly in the middle of the post once you actually clicked on the post – which I found unacceptable. I’m looking into the possibility of changing themes but I haven’t found one I like as much as this one yet.
